Our Health Care Professionals
Dr. Natasha Williams
I am on a mission to remove the stigma of mental illness among ethnic communities and provide a safe space to discuss mental health. I do this by travelling around the world and provide keynote addresses on this topic.
Genevieve is passionate about offering clinical support to clients and journeying with those going through challenging life circumstances; she is creative, confident, caring and committed to the change process – especially when it concerns relationships and black women. Genevieve founded Corner Counsellor to provide accessible therapy, classes and group workshops in underserved neighborhoods. She currently serves at Humber College as an instructor within the Faculty of Social and Community Services and as a professor at Tyndale University in the Department of Health and Human Services. No stranger to partnering and consulting with reputable GTA agencies, Genevieve is honoured to be part of the Heart of A Man (HOAM) network. This important oraganization is providing a niche service to an often overlooked demographic within the mental health care field.
Mike has combined his personal and professional experience to create educational and training programs and practices rooted in experiential learning. The teachings are a combination of mindfulness, emotional intelligence, cognitive behavioural therapy, and neuroscience.
Natasha Halliday, MA, CYC, is a Child and Youth Care Practitioner and Speaker. She received her BA in Child and Youth Care from the University of Victoria, and a Masters in Child and Youth Care at Ryerson University.
